Our History

Global Web Strategies started in 2003 in Bakersfield, California with the vision to help companies take advantage of the very fast growing internet.  Most website developers begin with a background in a technical field like graphic design or programming and generally do very good work in their field.  We felt at Global Web Strategies that in order for a website to work the best there must be a stronger connection to the business objectives of a company.  So, we have built our company service on this foundation. 

Understand the business objectives first and very thoroughly, then plan the website design and internet marketing around these objectives.

Our Vision

So, in order to do this effectively we will always have personnel in our company with all of these respective skills: business management, graphic design, programming and internet marketing.  Our strategic advantage is to be able to merge all of these skill sets into a powerful resource for our customers.  We are not just a Bakersfield web design company or a website development company or an applications company.  We produce solutions for companies that take advantage of the internet so that the companies will have a positive ROI on their investment in that solution.  And, we measure those results for the customer so we will be a strategic partner for their business.

Having the skill to do the work and to help our clients gain new customers and financial rewards is not enough.  We also need to have the kinds of values that will allow us to endure for many years to come.  Therefore we ascribe to the following values:

  • We will be dependable.  We must always do what we say.  If there is an emergency or an interruption that causes a delay, we will communicate quickly about it so there are no surprises.
